It's been long since i last updated .. as you all know, i've P.O.P on the 12th of July, 2008 and i had a block leave of 10 daes till 22nd July .. During that 1 week .. had been going out .. now bank no $$ liao ..


Monday, 15th Sept 2008 :



Met up with 2 of my platoon mates, Kenneth, his fren and Quan Tein for a K-session. As per usual, i'm late so they go eat 1st @ some coffeeshop. When i reached, they acc me go eat again @ Pearl Centre's Mac then we head off to K-ster to SING !! I tell you, they are super good singers lor !! Kenneth can imitate Fei Yu Qin and QT can imitate Wang Lee Hom lor !! Sound so alike .. so after singing K .. we decides to go to Bugis for dinner where we had western @ some cafe .. 4gt the name ler ... Hahaha .. den go home lor ..



Tuesday, 16th Sept 2008 :


Met up wif Nc and HL .. they supposed to go to my P.O.P de but Ps only allow 2 person per recruit so they can't go .. meet Nc first @ IMM. Had afternoon tea first den walk ard ... when it was time, we 2 go Jurong point to meet Hl as she finishes work @ 5 plus.
We head to Soup Restaurant for chinese food and to my utmost surprise, the food is quite cheap. I tot it was super EXXXXX those type de but it's like those a plate shared by a few ppl .. so we ordered a few dishes and eat .. in total we eat ard $73 .. plus GST all those .. Den after dat we chat along the way as we go home and in the bus, we decides to go Hl hse .. which we did nth there except to watch tv .. Actually wan to go her hse drink and chat but she bath and everything until so long so only left like 30 mins .. she spent the 30 mins use compt .. den me n Nc juz entertained ourselves lor. She gt served us drink lar .. Concentrated Volka .. Kns .. next day i sore throat .. coz i ate a lot of sweets and she sae the mixture of those 2 will have undesirable results .. Never mind ..


Thursday, 18th Sept 2008 :


Met up wif Esther, Ting ting, Kim Jio and Kum and her Bf, Jy in Suntec but decides to head to Marina Sq for dinner .. Had personal steamboat @ Hot soup which i think nt bad lar .. service and food, gt desert some more .. eat until each person pay $25 (i think) .. den head to Esplanade where we chat for 2 hours .. Actually it's gossip lar but it still consist of mouth moving .. "Chat" about a lot of stuff den at ard 11p.m .. we head home liao ..

Friday, 19th Sept 2008 :

Meet up with Xue yu @ Jurong point to buy Serene's 21st bdae gift. After dat, went to LJS to eat .. take some pointless pics while persuading dat chicky vic (C.V) to go to the bbq .. finally he decided to go and arrange to meet us there so after we eat, decides to walk walk since it's still early. WAlk until 5 plus then we walk to the interchange to take bus 30 to Harbourfront. I tot it will be like 45 mins to 1 hr trip since it was only 30 mins for me to reach Vivo but god noes we spend ard 1 hr and 45 mins inside the bus .. from sky bright bright sit till sky dark dark .. sianz lor .. duno why the bus so slow .. service sux still want to bring up the charges .. kns .. anyway, supposed to reach vivo at 6.30 or less became reach @ 7 plus .. then went to buy ticket for the monorail but dat C.V tell us he duno where to buy the ticket and how to use the machine. So we walk ard vivo to wait for dat C.V .. finally he reached and teach him buy the ticket and off we go !!

Reach the bbq place @ 8 and ask Serene to bring us in. A lot of ppl but only 6 from ITE side .. At first boring .. feel like leaving @ 10p.m but Boon Siong came liao den we chit chat and suan Vic so in the end we leave @ 11p.m. Parted @ Vivo again and i take bus home ..

The bbq is fun .. in a way. Reach, then eat, chit chat, then sing Happy bdae song to Serene .. Countless pics taken with and without her, then head home.

Monday, 22nd Sept 2008 :


Went back camp for our posting .. Kena posted to Signal and my buddy went to Scout. Ber went to scout too .. Then wait for ard 2 hours, the bus came and we travelled to the Signal Institute. At first i tot only need to learn 1 simple device only, God noes it got a lot of Theory to learn !! I feel so regretful !! I tot Army no need Theory .. Then how come so many school-like things .. i'm going crazy lar !! I wan to post back !!

Infrantry is physical-stress. At least you wake up, all your pain is gone. Signal ? You wake up and your brain still hurts. Worse still, if i dun pass the course, i will have to re-course. Die liaoz lar !!


Can Someone please save me from all these ?!

Wow .. time passed by so quickly !! It seems like yesterday when i enlisted into 4 SIR .. then ZOOM !! 9 weeks pass and today i P.O.P loh !!


Have to say .. i have a lot of fun and laughters during these 9 weeks .. i oso make quite some friends inside .. without them, i think i will be SUPER SUPER bored in army ..


Now abt army stuff .. can say i've learned quite a lot of stuff which School can't teach you .. E.g : Can school teach you how to protect yourself when you encounter an enemy ? What we learned in the army, we can also use in our everyday lives ..


Then it's fieldcamp .. For a clean freak like me .. i actually can tahan dirtiness and not to bath for 6 daes .. imagine that .. and slping in muddy ground (All thx to the rain that keep pouring down when we reach Tekong) .. is simply confortable .. have to sae .. Tekong is super hot when there is no rain and damn cold at nite when u're slping .. i actually wake up and found myself shivering in sheer coldness in the middle of the nite .. but the feeling is .. OUTSTANDING !!


Then back to today's POP parade, before the parade, we have to complete 24km roadmarch in 12 hours .. it's not just walking .. you have to SING .. LOUD .. and you have to sing the same 6 songs for the next 12 hours .. imagine that ?!?! But don't worry lar .. Army not dat crazy .. you get to rest after certain kms but only for 15 mins .. Hahahaz ..


So after the 24 km, we straight away marched into the parade and carry on .. imagine 1 night din slp ... damn tired lor !! But our Sergeant Major sae we are soldiers and we are not allow to show our shag face .. and we must smile when we march in .. so .. Bo bian lor .. Lan Lan suck thumb .. Hahaha .. Then after the march in, our parents are supposed to put on the cap for us .. then we throw the cap high up in the air .. signifying that we have passed out a.k.a POP LOH !!
